I. The current situation of Suoi To 1 Primary School’s scale and welfare facilities (09/2017)

Suoi To 1 Primary School is belonged to one of the most difficult commune in Phu Yen Province with the shortage of school facilities and a lot of temporary classrooms. At the central school site,  there are 9 classrooms but only 5 of 9 are firm while 4 others are temporary.

The status of property and land

Land area:

The total area of Suoi To 1 Primary School is 5766m2, including:

– Land area for building classrooms, public-duty houses, pupils’ houses, auxiliary works: 1332m2;

– Land area for semi-boarding: 1000m2;

– Land area for playground: 2444m2;

– Land area for planning garden: 1000m2.

Books and equipments for teaching and learning:

– School facilities: Computers: 03 sets; Printer: 3 pcs; Projector: 0 units; Television: 2 pcs; Accelerometer and speaker: 1 set.

– Teaching aids: Student textbooks: 1278 copies; Teacher’s book: 5 sets; Teaching materials: From class 1 to class 5 each class has: 01 set.

– From the legal base, the state of the overall school network and the population projection and the size of the student for the 2017-2021 period, the re-planning of the school’s overall network is essential to implement in accordance with the provisions of law; gradually overcome the inadequacies; create conditions for the school to stabilize and develop, meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the new period.

II, GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
Planning perspective

To draw up a master plan on the school network suited to the practical conditions of the localities, strictly observing the guidance of the government, the State and the Ministry of Education and Training; It is in line with Vietnam’s educational development strategy, socio-economic development planning, urban development planning and new rural construction planning of Phu Yen district, Son La province in each period. Long term, creating favorable conditions for learners, contributing to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning of schools in the district.

Common goals

– Meeting the needs about the learning and studying of students in Suoi To Commune;

– To rationalize the network of educational institutions in localities and regions, with priority given to deep-lying, remote and ethnic minority areas.

– Ensuring the maximum service radius of educational establishments suitable to each age and level according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;

– To ensure that the educational establishments are of appropriate size and use space according to the standard regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

– To create conditions for the socialization of education in the construction of schools in crowded population areas and in economically developed areas.

– Contribute to improving the quality of comprehensive education, training human resources for society, serving the needs of socio-economic development of the locality.

– Reduce some of the staff deficit for the sector.

– Reduce schools to create conditions for students to study in the best educational environment, creating conditions to improve the quality of education.

– Parents and students are excited. In spite of having to go to school and stay at school, the students have benefited from CSVC’s conditions, care, support from teachers and political organizations.

– Maintaining and improving the quality of PCGD at the right age.

– Manage learning and teaching activities better.

– CSVC stable day to meet the requirements for the teaching and learning process to reach the national primary school.

Class size, pupils: Based on the survey results and actual situation, in 2017-2021, Suoi To 1 primary school will maintain its scale of 18 to 20 classes. Number of students is 374 to 387 students.

– Build 01 house for 04 students for semi-boarding students.

– 01 water supply; 04 toilets (02 houses).

– Raising the number of children in the school-leaving age: 100%.

– Maintaining the number of classes, students: 100% of students have not dropped out.

– Students complete the program at 99.7%.

– Students finish the program and complete the program at 99.7% or higher.

– Students are rewarded annually with a rate of 28.0% or higher.
